Project Director: Sarah Munro

As Artistic and General Manager of Tramway Sarah has sought to instil her passion and enthusiasm for visual and performing arts on a new generation of Tramway audiences. With a strong belief in the positive psychological and physical power of the arts on people’s lives, Sarah is driving this project forward to ensure as many people as possible get the opportunity to benefit from Tramway’s ground-breaking contemporary programming and innovative participation events. Sarah previously worked for The Collective Gallery in Edinburgh, where she was responsible for projects such as the One Mile Project and New Work Scotland.

Audience Engagement Officer: Rosemary James

Sharing Sarah’s belief in the importance of arts and culture in everyday life, Rosemary is responsible for coordinating the audience development initiatives arising from this project, as well as developing the social media strategy. Rosemary started her interest in the arts at a young age through youth theatre and dance. Working for CCA, Scottish Ballet and Tramway as part of the Greenhouse Audience Development Internship at GGA she honed her arts marketing skills and knowledge of Web 2.0 strategy. Rosemary now spends her time avidly researching audience behaviour and responses as well as dreaming up new ways to engage and communicate with the groups. Rosemary is the main contact for this project, so if you have any questions please use the email address below:

Action Research Consultant: Sam Harrison

Sam is coordinating and running the Action Research element of this project, drawing on experience as an academic and consultant. Through a part-time PhD and projects such as WWF’s Natural Change, where he was the participant researcher and report author, Sam continues to focus on research with people, not on them. Providing a space to develop understanding and practical insight never fails to bring out new and creative ideas, and continues to inspire Sam to undertake Action Research. Based in Argyll, Sam runs Open Ground, which explores people’s relationship to place, through education and research. If you have a question relating directly to Sam’s role you can contact him on:

Digital Media Consultant: Ross McCulloch

Ross has strong interest in using social media for social good and he is an avid Twitterer. He runs Third Sector Lab, which consults with not for profit organisations on how best to employ digital technologies to their advantage, and organises digital media events, such as Glasgow Twestival. Ross is also the founder of www.ThirdSectorForums.co.uk – a space where charity professionals and social entrepreneurs learn, debate and connect. Ross and his team have been instrumental in the development of this project, designing and building this website and the social network associated with it. Ross is providing ongoing technical support to the project team. Ross can be contacted on:
